The idea of these tutorials is to get you marking up pages right from the start. You dont even need to type! Just use your mouse to select the HTML examples, which will be in special text boxes like this one, copy the selection and paste it into any word processing program! Then you save it as a text only file and open it with the browser to see what you've done. Selection in a text area may be achieved by: (i) Clicking and dragging over the text (ii) Clicking in the text area then using Control-A or Command-A from the keyboard (iii) Clicking at the start of the text holding down the shift key and then clicking at the end of the text Dont forget the keyboard shortcuts Control-C or Command-C for copy and Control-V or Command-V for paste
