Lists
Several kinds of lists can be made using special html tags. Type the following in your word processor, save it as a text file then open it with the browser.
You can use your Document Source function in the View menu to look at the source of this HTML document
Lists are often used as a click able index for a number of related pages or documents, to allow easy navigation through the material. Some people make click able lists of their favourite web sites for future reference and portability.
Here's a clickable list that links to all the examples of tables in the directory "tables". Type it out, save it and put it into that directory, then open it with the browser.
