Workers ! Unite (1907)

Arise ! ye workers of the world ;
Australia's sons appeal to thee.
Our blood-red flag is now unfurled,
To lead us on to victory.

Too long in bondage we've been held;
Now is the time to break the chain--
A truer Brotherhood to weld,
And man receive his own again.

No more must bitter, racial hate
Keep nations' workers far apart ;
Let friendship mark our future state--
Sincere and true In every heart.

United, then, we'll stand or fall
In Liberty's most sacred cause ;
And one for each, and each for all--
Be holiest of Nature's laws.

E. F. RUSSELL.
